Need Help with new crossfire!!!
I just recently got a 05 Chrysler crossfire coupe that I had a few questions about. First, I had a headlight go out and after I fixed it the Exterior Bulb Failure light stayed on. How do I clear it? Next, I had taken it to get an inspection done on it and the only thing they had found was that my front tires have a cupping pattern on the inside. I was told that my struts are worn; anyone else ever had this problem?

Try to narrow it down?
Check all of your exterior lights ! park lamps, license plate bulbs, high and low beams, ETC, the light comes on when there is a break in the lighting system, if one or more are bad. About your tires well your going to have to get new ones any way and then at that time you can have the front end inspected, because I also think tires out of balance, and to get them re-balanced would be a waste of time.
Congratulations on your new ride! Were you able to snag a warranty with the purchase? You might use that to check out the light issue.
As for the cupping, if I were in your shoes (and I have been at one time or another), I would take the car to my mechanic of choice and have the alignment checked. I would also have him check the tires to see if they are still good for the street. If you need a new set, you can do some searches on-line here for Hanooks. They seem to give the best return for your $$ right now.
If you can stay on top of issues by having good maintenance, your car will last a long time. Let us know what the resolutions are - we share our learning experiences.
