Default Chrysler Max Warranty Items

OK, I've hit the 69K mark on my ODO and my 70,000/7 Chrysler Max warranty is about to expire. I have a couple issues:

1) Heated Seats
2) Nav Radio display
3) Variable internal Fan Speed

I figured I'll take her in and have these items fixed. I copied the TBS list provided in one of the threads i found doing a search and I want the stealer to make sure these are all ok.

Is there anything else I should be aware of or tell the stealer since my warranty is about to expire? Anything and everything would be helpful.

Thanks.

How about purchasing an extended warranty? Ever considered this, the rates are pretty reasonable and with the expenses of fixing these cars it's often cheaper just to make the 12 months worth of payments to have your car covered an extra 5 years and if you are the original owner lifetime/unlimited mileage may still be available to you. PM me for more info or give me a call at 608-364-5965 my name is Josh.

Josh, I believe a while back you talked about the Chrysler MaxCare Warranty being available through the Chrysler Dealer where you work.

I have an 05 roadster convertible with 20050 miles on it. I purchased it in December of 09 from a private party. The VIN is 1C3AN65L45X057154. Is the Chrysler MaxCare Warranty for 5 years, 70,000 miles available for this car and what would the price be?

Thanks for you help on this.

Hmmmm .... this will be interesting if Josh discusses this on this thread. I bet he goes only to PMs, so that "patient privacy" is protected. It's just my thought that if the same car, same mileage, same everything came up there could be 10 or more different quotes, from a hundred different dealers. Why?
Sorry ..... just my distrust of "insurance Salesmen" .......

Had the extended warranty discussion today with my Service Advisor at the Chrysler dealership. He quoted just a tad over $2500, and the same warranty from one of the 'others' (the name of which I do not recall) at $1710. I have a year left on the factory warranty(08 Silver Roadster Ltd) as the 2nd owner. Turned out the originial owner had purchased an extended warranty, which evidently he 'traded in' for cash. I didn't know you could to that. Anyway - having read the posts of those who have gone for an extended warranty, I will most likely do that - sounds like it could be a wash if only one element goes, and a bargain if several problems occur. I'll be holding off 'till I catch up with the $$$ some.

Was at the dealership for an oil change. Again, having learned from the posts about how to be exacting with these folks, I acted supremely confident about the process - but felt nervous inside that they would do it right! Turns out that they service about 4 or 5 area XFs. Of course that doesn't mean much when you compare it with the hundreds of other vehicles serviced. Anyway - its done and all appears ok. Bill was $94 +a few cents. Continued thanks for the oil change info/advice.
