Buying a 2007 crossfire hard top. When locking the car with the key using the driver's side key hole - the gas cap locks but the trunk does not. When lifting the truck the alarm sounds which I guess it should. Alarm can be silenced by pushing the unlock button on the key.

Does anyone know what the fix is for this. Thanks

 

The car's locks are pneumatic. So, if the air hose to the trunk lock has fallen off, leaks, etc... then you'd have no lock action. Now, how to TRACE the lock hose, it's easy to trace the lock hose ...................................in a Roadster.

In a COUPE, I have no idea - those cars are more "hidden" or "sealed up" than a Roadster.

I'll get back to ya after I buy a Coupe. Should be only a few days now...
Give me a week or two and I might know something about the car!

But dont' worry, maybe someone will chime in.
