Default Xenon headlights anyone??

Has anyone here installed REAL xenon headlights. I have been looking on e-bay and I am close to purchasing a new Philips kit. They are going for around $500.00. I think that it is a joke that these $35,000 vehicles do not come standard with an HID system, and that it is not even an available option. My buddy's 330ci not only looks better with xenon, but is also much brighter and therefore safer than our stock headlights. Alright, enough complaining out of me. Has anyone installed HID??? and if so, how was the install and results.

The key to this statement is "$35,000" It's not $50K or more. $35K is
not expensive. That's one of the things that attracted me to this car.
I think it's worth every penny.Just as it is! Look at a vehicle the extremely overpriced japanese cars like the Lexus. I have yet to see a Luxus that I think is worth it's price tag. But it comes with HID... Whoppie!!! I still don't see the rest of the $45K + price in the sedan. But, people are buying them.

$35,000 isn't that expensive, I know this. But if you look at some of the crossfire's competition including the 350 Z, G 35, etc., xenon is standard equipment.. However, I am still VERY HAPPY with my xfire.
