Default Cheap Sprint Boosters

Hello all,

I came across a company on ebay selling spinrt boosters at £99! ($153ish) These are the original models without the selectable, adjustable throttle response. I have checked and confirmed the models they have are: BDD451/A which our cars use.

I have confirmed that they can ship to the US via Royal Mail for an additional cost of £20 ($30ish)

At this price I have to get one!

Regards

AR

Best mod for the money. Our cars should have come this way in the first place.

I say go for it.

Apologies, this is the link:

I have spoken to the seller to confirm the correct part number and talk them into shipping to the US - mention my name: Amit

No problem buddy,

They've got quite a few in stock, but I'm waiting on pay day, spent way too much on the Crossfire this month!

They have the new selectable ones too, these are a bit more expensive, but cheaper than I have seen them in the US.

if this piece will make me feel what I feel when I do throttle reset, then i will save my money. Because, I dont notice a big difference after a throttle reset. Maybe thats because I am already heavy on the throttle all the time and the computer knows it..

Throttle reset is the Cheapest Mod you can do. Sprint Booster is More. Much more.

Automatics see a marked impovement in pedal response.
Manuals see better control of engine RPMs at shift points.

I felt as you do for some time. I was wrong. It was the last mod I did after thousands spenton hardware and tunes. It was the most noticeble and provided the most improvement in driving pleasure.

Hands down.

I did not need to unbolt the pedal - just unplug and install the SB inbetween the pedal and harness.

All I removed was the under dash cover.

Sounds like a great buy. I bought the selectable SB and am very pleased with it. It has stock mode, sport mode and race mode. I've found that the sport mode has better drivability for most everyday driving, but when you want to go play, the quick response from the race setting is very fun. I believe that with the older ones there were 2 to choose from; 1 was too responsive(jerky) for many folks and the other was smoother. The older members would know more about this. I believe that they just gave us both capabilities w/ the newer "Selectable" version. Perhaps ask them if the older one that you're looking at is more like the "Sport Mode" or the "Race Mode" in the newer version? Whatever you decide; you will have way better response than stock, for certain.

I have called the seller this morning in an effort to improve communications, I felt a little responsbile as I did kinda recommend them, he informed me they are a little short staffed at the moment but he will make an extra effort to correspond swiftly through ebay.

He informed me that he does stock the Selectable Sprint Booster - this is £185 the equivalent to $287. I spoke to him about getting a better price for a possible group buy, but he wanted an idea of numbers.

Personally, I think I'm gonna buy the standard one.

Hey man, do you think you can talk to them to contact me? I just bought one from them. Since he had free shipping listed, i paid him 99.99 euros plus 20.00 euros for shipping. I sent him 3-4 emails but only heard once from them, from my first email. I asked him if they shipped to US and how much. He responded that yes they do and it was 25 euros.

He hasnt responded to any of my questions. All I need him to tell me that he shipped me a manual transmission sprint booster. I dont want to file a claim with paypal to have my money back. I want the booster.

Thanks.
