NOS 50-100-150 HP ?
NOS is a blast, spray away!! I would say start with the 50HP hit and not to go over 100HP, but a call to Nitrous Oxide Systems to get their recommendation on the level of hit would be the best.
Of course a 10 pound bottle would fit in the back I would look at hiding a sneeky pete bottle some where out of sight. You also may need to upgrade the fuel pump and ignition. P/M me if you have any questions

im seriously considering a 50 shot. i know its maybe not the best thing for the engine, but 50 shots usually dont cause much damage, from the people i know who have used it, and i only plan on spraying every now and then. im only going to do this if the various ecu mods prove not to work, seeing as how no one has still produced either a dyno slip or a time slip. i cant believe the manufacturers of these various ecu's have not even done dyno's of their ecu's, or at least not shown them to us because most tuning on ecu's is done while on the dyno. imho these things would be flying off the shelf with dyno sheets, just look over at the rsx forums or wrx forums or any other site. once people post that first dyno everyone hops all over the parts, while here there are like ten people with ecu upgrades out of 2000 members. oh well, i hope to see some sort of slip soon or else im nos'ing it.
james sonne, i think alot of german engines shoot nos, usually the ones inside of vw's.

Everyone we've talked to says a Crossfire cannot be dyno'd because the electronic systems will shut down at ~4000 rpm if the rear wheels are turning but the front wheels are not.
i dunno, but for some reason im not too comfortable with powerchip only because i dont know of anyone who has used one of their chips, but upsolute has a great rep., but with no dyno or a members 1/4 time slip (no gtech) i just wont buy one. i think alot of people are in the same boat as me with that.
I read power chips info and they said that they would have to desolder the rom out of the ecu, program it and then resolder it. If they are not willing to invest in the correct hw to hook up to the ECU then forget them.

The downside that I see with Powerchip is that you have to remove your ECU and send it to them. They do their thing and send it back to you and you reinstall it and hope like hell that it works. (Not to mention that Powerchip charges over $600 for their chip tunning and Upsolute is around $400). With Upsolute I was right there with the rep watching everything he was doing. And he checked everything out to make sure all was right. If you don't want to chip your car that's fine. It's not for everyone. But for those of us that have it.... I think I can speak for all of us.... It's what we were looking for.... Better performance.
