I have 4 lights on the interior right now all blue... great for just normal driving ... there are one under each side of the dash.. and 1 under each seat... im going to add 4 more... two behind each seat... and then 2 in the truck area for show off and not normal road driving *cuz its illegal*... I was thinking about adding a few into the grill area to light that up for show... cuz again its illegal here in michigan to have any light at all...

it is kinda lame the underbody cant go on but i understand why completely after i looked...

The interior lights definately define the interior at night very nicely because of all the silver in my car! looks great! I recommend it!

im sorry!!! I FORGOT TO POST!! the pics have been on my site for a long *** time!!! haha

http://www.bobafettm.com/debadged.htm
These are pictures of the Crossfire with the blue tint done on the inside!!!

http://www.bobafettm.com/sidemarker.htm
Pictures of the Clear side lights

http://www.bobafettm.com/familycars.htm
Pictures of my family's three main cars that come out when its not raining ... you guys dont wanta see what I drive on the rainy days !!!!

BTW!!! TOMORROW!!! I add another 4 - 5 more light into the car to really finish the lighting system off I hope!!

1 cold cathode underneath the shelving area in the trunk
1 LED bar aiming from the farthest edge of the trunk aiming inward
2x cold cathodes behind each seat to tint the seating area more...
1 small cold cathode right across the rear top side of the counsle box... there it will release blue lighting into the front of the car...

the small cold cathode and the trunk lighting are on a seperate switch from the tinting lights... under the dash + under the seat + behind the seat lights will all be on one switch so i can have those on when i drive... it doesnt shine where the police can get me but the others are for showing off...

I also ordered 4 blue tinted Silverstar turn signal bulbs to now give the rear and the front lamps blue instead of yellow... i think everyone will apprechiate those once i get them in the mail!

OKAY !!! IM READY FOR THE FLAMING !!!! when the interior is all done ... it might just be nice enough for a show display

I'm trying to see how I can add a bar above the trunk spacer... would be nice to install 5 point seat belts for looks also... since I can't do engine performance... i can do this for fun at least!!!

Check the links again sk1pper.....the Nav is already in the pictures..you just can't make it out in all those lights....;-)
But seriously...Bobafettm...can you add a few totally unartistic, simple daytime pictures of the Nav unit for those of us who are playing with the idea of getting one ??

Thank you for so elliquently stating what I was getting at, but decided to be elusive and unclear instead of just stating my desire.

(im just foolin' around ya'll)

Those new pics are what I was after though.

Seriously though a question. Was it an issue for the install? How does it effect driving with those controls covered? I see it clears the a/c vents, is it that it has no effect on the airflow?

The reason I ask is that a/c is very important here in South Louisiana.

LOL you havent been here on Michigan's 100+ days with humidity dripping from your body... I understand AC is 100% needed! I use it every day nearly... i hate heat... i can turn the fan **** np even while its open..

if you watch one of the video's you can see it open and close... pop's up and down easily... plus you can just move the screen down with a button to get at anything you need...

install... it hooks into some type of brain to run all the sweet gauges and such!! if you watch one of the video's you can see that part also ...

plus illegally you can watch part of a movie in one of the videos

its not in silver sorry... Pioneer just rocks though! I love this head unit and I DOUBT there is anything out there better... other then custom done

But for that price thats REALLY good... I got mine at wholesale because I get all speakers / head units and performance parts through a company ... so its all wholesale pricing ... its very nice but that price is very close to what I paid wholesale! so im impressed!!! its worth it big time !

BobaFettm,

Do the nav maps get stored in memory so that you can play an mp3 music disc while navigating? Or, do you have to leave the map DVD in the drive?

SeaXfire I too was also wondering about. I'm not desperate to spend this kinda money on a nav system yet so I'm gonna wait on it for a while. I gotta get my dual 2.5ghz Power Mac G5 first.

Those features do look really awesome though, I love how you can check your speed on it and everything. What about CD changers? Is it possible to get one hooked up to it? Did you get the camera for reversing? Also could you get a pic up of it in clear daylight with the screen stored away.

Thanks

Once you plan your route its all saved throw in a DVD and enjoy the trip! it will announce on the speakers or on the screen when and where to turn ...
