Default DVD Nav + Streetglow

I'm rather excited cause I just bought all these parts and will be getting them installed plus pics on here on tuesday but heres some highlights before the pics are up!!

Pioneer DVD / Nav. System 6.5 LCD Screen
-Vehicle Dynamics Displays so you can monitor your vehicle's performance on-screen. Gauges showing acceleration, cornering, speed, and more
-MP3, CD, DVD with 50wx4 ... so I should see an increase in sound performance ... not that it needs it.
-East and West coast maps on DVD... it will show all the gas stations, resturants and goodies like that!
Here's a link to the pioneer....

Streetglow LED Underbody kit + Interior lights
-Two 48" tubes Two 30" tubes (Blue)
-Two 10" LED interior tubes (Blue)

I hope everyone here doesnt boot me from the forum because my car looks kinda ricer-ish... My friend who owns a RX8 called me a ricer once I told him was parts I bought today! haha.... but I think this car will stand out and it will be amazing once it is complete...

I also learned about the Borla system a bit more and put myself on a pre-order list! I can't wait till thats in!

Blue interior lighting? ... rmmm, that's gonna look bad with the green light theme inside the car stock. You'll have to open up the dash and center console and switch out all of the LEDs.

it didnt sound hateful to me....he was just pointing out that the stock interior has a green theme going on in case you had overlooked it. and if you can, please let us kno how difficult it is to change out the LED's as i was also considering doing that. I think blue would look very nice on my SSB.

cars are a personel thing. It is up to you what you buy and what you do to them. I know. I bought my xfire 1 week after the scottish motor show because I liked it. If I told my work mates they would have one comment after another about it not being a merc or bmw. (the usual car of choice for my industry) I bit my toung for 4 months and did'nt tell anyone that I had bought it.

Now that I own it one guy who is a badge man (if it not a bm its crap) said "nice car if it had a bmw badage I have three."

Do what you want to your car, its yours you paid for it, some may like some may not who cares as long as you like it.

I will know step down from my high horse.

IMO some cars are to be left alone and the Crossfire is one such vehicle. All the "boy racers" around here light up their Hondas and put big spoilers on them etc... but it's your car, do with it as you like, please don't park next to me...

I dont think you were on a high horse at all! I think everyone should be able to buy any car they want without slander... I know I grew up in Detroit... and all american made cars were everyones favorites... then I moved to Goodrich which is near flint ... and that is were it changed... GM all of a sudden is considered like a god... I HATE THAT... I can't stand it when someone just disses a car because of the maker... I had so many people say... "why didnt you buy a caddy with that kinda money..." my retort was always ... am I a rapper? no... am I 60+ in age... no... leave me alone...

Nope you've got it wrong... absolutely no hatered here. I just don't care for the lights under the car. Ifve owned more than my share of Japanese cars and hold them in high esteem. Check out my list of the cars I've owened in the gOther Carsh forum.

My wifefs daily driver is a e94 Honda Civic SIc one of two cars that Ifve had the least amount of problems with.

its a sad day...

the Streetglow LED kit will no fit under the Xfire because of its exhaust in the back.. and in the front its already so low... if i hit a pothole I wouldnt have lights anymore... the entire bottom of the car is REALLY flat and there isnt a place to put them up into...

so I added a few more interior blue lights just to give it a nice glow under the seats... but there wont be any underbody glow after all

LOL ... i know you guys dont care... but I really wanted those damn lights...

Today I ordered some Porterfield brake pads... the clear turn signal lights... and talked about doing the ECU again... this time from Rene himself... and talked my mom into picking up some 5zigen 18's for her PT... and got her talked into getting Eibach + H&R spacers for the PT... aka... I get them for my Xfire if I want too ... but I dont know if I really wanta drop my car lower... I probably will just to be somewhat different!
