Leave a post on the Upsolute forum if you get your car chipped by Upsolute. All I see there are people w/ VWs and Audis.... Let's let them know that Crossfires are about performance too.

Just go to the Upsolute site and register in their forum and leave a post. I think that the more interest we show the more likely it is that Rene will stay on top of our programs and work to make them even better. Just a thought.

You think by doing so we early adopters will get a free 'upgrade' as he tweaks it? 8) Wouldn't he need to see before/after engine performance tests to be able to a)know how well his first cut worked and b) make it even better :?:

I already emailed Rene and told him I would send him the sheets from my Dyno runs when I get them done. He told me that he hopes he gets feedback from other people too and if there are enough people getting a certain car done then he looks closer at ways to improve it. He's really been able to do great thing with the VW GTIs because there are a bunch of those folks going with Upsolute. Just good business to put your biggest effort where the most activity is.

What we have right now is the program for the SLK/CLK 320. There may be some tweaks he can do to the Crossfire that differs from the SLK.

Did I make any sense?

I emailed Rene and asked about a group buy. This is what he said:

I will consider it. , they would need to ship their ECU's and I would
have to designate where to distribut it amongst my distributors
depending on where they are located. we would need ten firm commitments.
Regards, Rene

I emailed Rene back asking for a price.

What do you guys think? I don't have an Upsolute distributor close to me so I'd have to send the ECU to them anyway.

I'll have to check with my Upsolute guy and get him to send my OEM data to Rene. Maybe it'll work something like one of those blasted mail-in rebates  :!:
