How can I disable the TPMS? (Tire Pressure Monitoring System)
White connector
I made this modification today as the TPMS light has decided it needs to be on constantly. It probably needs new batteries inside the tires but this component does not provide enough value to justify its overhead.
The only difficult part of doing this is removing the pin from the white connector. Here's what you need to do. Press a jeweler's screwdriver against the pin via the larger, lower rectangular opening. Pulling on the grey/yellow wire that'll allow you to extract it just enough so you can fit a pick underneath the pin (through that same opening) and force it out the rest of the way.

That’s what’s I have found in the past.
Best bet is to try a Fiat Forum
or by selling it
both would probably correct the situation

sorry, this is a chrysler crossfire forum.

Rudy, you are too smart.
Time to write a book and get paid for all this info.
How about
'Crossfires for Dummies'
or
'What Chrysler didn't tell anyone about Crossfires
or did not know themselves'?
PS
This is going to be very useful when the batteries in the TPM sensors go flat and people do not want to bother with the cost of new ones.

This is a Chrysler Crossfire forum, you would have to go the correct forum to get an answer.
I don't know, but is there a Dodge Ram Forum that you could check into for that answer? Or check out the wiring schematic for your truck to see which wire it is for your particular truck.
Or sell your truck and buy a Chrysler Crossfire. It goes without saying (duh) that you will need to search for a Crossfire afflicted with this problem. Or I guess we, the members of this forum, can take up a collection to buy a 2010 Dodge Ram 1500 (one also afflicted with this problem), research an online solution, affect & document the needed changes required, and in the end present you with a printed pamphlet for your assistance.

I disabled mine last year so I don't see the light on my dash board. Gotta dig in back there to find the connections after you remove the dome light cover. My wire was green, so I just ended up cutting it.
"check your tire pressure w/ pressure gauge"
Funny thing happen to me 2wks ago in regards to this....You can tell when your tire is low just by looking at it... I mean you can use a pressure gauge to be precise, but eyeballing it front back side to side, heh' looks good, don't need air. Car drives and steers fine. When I gas it, it goes...
Well, I thought wrong. One day, without me knowing that all 4x of my tires were low at 20PSI, xmas lights came on my dash board. ABS, BAS/ESP, check engine light (speed wheel sensor and transmission module failed), limp mode, spoiler wings pops up, no cruise control. I checked everything under the car trying to figure out what's at fault and everything looks good... read up forums for info...... Checked my battery, volts a lil' low. Thought it was my battery so I got it checked, shop said its dead and won't charge so i got a new one.... That didn't solve it. And next thing you know out of the blues, I decided to check my tire pressure just for ***** and giggles. I mean they look good still
Guess what?? that was the culprit. Freakin' tires were low... Inflate them tires up to spec from 20PSI to 32PSI, all of my problems are gone. Had me scared for a moment but I held my own... No more xmas lights on the dash board. Car drives fine, no more limp mode. spoiler and cruise control is at normal operating condition.... and my tires still looks the same, can't tell if I put air or not. bur still running strong at 175K

I've owned about 5x german cars and 1x Sweden, all of them used and in working or barely working condition.. mileage ranged between 92K and 276K. Im not a mechanic because 6months of schooling is not enough, im just a car enthusiasts..got my own tools,, fix them, drive them and resell it..I was able to learn these cars more than Japanese or American due to the check engine light always coming on and never owning the expensive OBD scanner to use.
Out of all the issues I had, this was also my first time experiencing this. Just still can't believe I fixed it....Glad to share this with you. Research is the key....i just don't like to take it to a European shop and keep paying, and its hard to find one too..1 out of 10 would know what's going on and the rest are clueless. Even though they got them scanner tool that costs thousands of dollars, they still couldn't figure it out.

A little square of flat black electrical tape placed over that stupid dash light fixed it for me. It vanishes and is unnoticeable. I read other recommendations on how to disable that light but cutting some electrical tape was a 1 minute solution. Done.
So I tried my best to do this mod unsuccessfully.
I could not pull the wires and connector out far enough to get at it. The connector is there on the back left of the homelink but it just wont pull out and I did not want to force the issue. Thought of perhaps removing the rear view mirror to see if that helps. But for now ive opted for the black tape.

Nope... it won't work. I've spent the past HOUR trying to get the grey wire out using... the tip on an awl, various tiny screwdrivers, two dental tools, and 10 other small pointy tools. I have every tool known to mankind, and this wire is STUCK.
I tried pushing it in first... then in and out, and a hundred other ways suggested in this thread and others on this forum. NOTHING worked.
So... someone please tell me if I can just cut the gray wire, cap it, and be done with it?
Does the gray have to be removed completely?
I've got this thing apart right now. Ugh!

If this fails cut the wire 2” or so from the plug and tape the ends of. Maybe the next owner can fix it correctly or ignore it.
Good luck.
