Engine Noise on Switch off !!!
I have recently purchased a Crossfire, so am new to these vehicles.
The vehicle purchased was a 2005 with 27000 miles and 2 previous owners, 1 of which was Chrysler garage themselves as a demonstrator. The vehicle
has a full service history and has been recently serviced, by Chrysler.
I have noticed that on switching the vehicle off a clunking / thumpin sound occurrs for a couple of seconds, sounds like engine running down.
This appears not to happen when the vehicle is switched off with foot on clutch. Is this normal or should I take to garage ????? any comments/ advice would be greatly recieved.
Thanks
