Default Brake Pads

I know this has been asked and I've read over multiple of posts... but my questions goes out to all of the people that did have it done...

I hate the GREEN coloring of the Green Stuff Brake Pads... but I want the no-dust factor! I saw that Andrew added Rotex brake pads to his... has anyone had any other news with different brands ?

I'm not looking to gain more performance then was is on it stock... but it doesn't hurt if it does add more...

If you did add new performance pads where did ya get them from?

Thanks! and sorry to kinda repost a topic... but this is something I really have questions on! Thanks again!

Porterfield brake pads are more for Mercedes which is also what I have in mind to reduce brake dust.

Front pads are sold for $99 at www.formymercedes.com

I'm just tired of cleaning and waxing my wheels only to get dirty again after a 12 mile trip!

Every time I try to put in the info for the SLK 320... I get some other brand name but not the Rotex nor EBC ... strange...

but has anyone here used anything other then the EBC... im just not a huge fan of having to paint the pads that I just bought to have them look good on the car... black or blue is cool by me

get the rotex gold pads if you want it to be black. They are avail in fronts and rears.
part number.
F=D9740D $??
R=D9779D $68.35
Just call the brakewarehouse 800# and order from there. I think there is a discount for ordering F&R.
I have the rotex rears, just haven't installed them yet. I really like the EBC front. absolutely NO DUST. I really don't see the pads, unless I get new wheels which may show more brake parts...

I had the Porterfield pads installed about a week ago..They are worth every penny as far as I'm concerned..I HATE the dust with a passion.
It would be terrible after 2-3 days of normal driving..I washed mine this morning after 7 days and they were still fairly clean..Most was road film but little brake dust..I'm not sure what the going prices are for the other leading brands but my money is on the Porterfield's..
To be honest, I'd love any pad that saved me as much cleaning time as this one..They are GREAT..
