Default Crossfire Protection Coveragenot thru Chrysler

Has Anyone purchased extended coverage for the Crossifre , from time to time i get in the mail extended coverage from Vehicle Protection of America or Santander. Cost is around 2k and covers 5 years of major service. At the moment everything is out of pocket if service is needed for my 2004 Crossfire. Gosh what do to ??

At least you were offered a better deal than I. The finance guy tried to hawk me a "platinum package" for my SRT. 3 years, $2k

Santander's better at mid-risk car finance and should stay put in that market IMO.

I purchased the Bumper to bumper Chrysler warranty when I bought out my lease, it was 7 years, 70,000 miles, my 3 year warranty had expired. I was about two years into it when I sold the car recently and I just cancelled the warranty. Originally it cost me 1200$. I did use it back in the fall when I had an air flow sensor valve go out on me. Hopefully I'll get some money back. We also bought a bumper to bumper for our 04 Mercedes. That was expensive, 2000$ for 24 mths, 50$ deductible which was always waived. I say always waived because that warranty more than paid for itself. We had front end issues, $1500, the dash caught fire, $2400. A manifold issue, $1500 and a few other lesser odds and ends. All in all I think it paid out over $6000. There was never any problem with the warranty company and the dealerships were more than happy to eat the deductible.
