You already have cold air intake. Add K&Ns if you want to make it breath better.
For a chip I've got the Upsolute chip remap and it's working great ( www.upsolute.com). Let me know if you're interested and I'll give you all the particulars. Or do a search in this area for "Upsolute". There are several threads. As for exhaust, I think Borla will have a system out very soon, if it's not out already.

But, and I'm here to tell you...... if you don't lower your compression and you plant a blower on this bad boy you are going to be driving a bomb looking for a place to blow.
The compression really isn't that high, dude. You could run a blower for a long time without having to worry. Of course you're going to want to reinforce the rods and valves, but that's just something everyone has to think about when installing a blower. I know people running 10psi turboes on 13:1 compression, daily.
If you're going to do something like that to a car, though, I don't understand why you wouldn't just buy a cheap car to begin with and completely redo it. Like an RX7 or something along those lines.

Here's the deal, Slick... Obviously you don't know your butt from a blower. If you run anything higher than 9.5:1 compression with a blower you're not getting the best performance from the blower and your flurting with disaster. With a turbo, depending on your intercooler efficiency, you can get away with higher compression.
blowers can run intercoolers, too. But intercoolers effectively increase compression by cooling the air. Everyone that runs a blower not from the factory is flirting with disaster... heck, you're flirting with disaster by sitting on 15.7 gallons of gasoline coursing through a 4000*F engine hurling 3 feet from oncoming traffic that would equal the force of 140mph upon collision. Give me a break. It may not be 'optimum' but that's hardly the point. I'm pretty sure that this Karmann built German engine is stronger than a Honda B16A 4-cylinder.

Now this is what i call entertainment... we need better names other than "slick", "dude", and "idiot" though, but I suppose we should keep it G rated. You could always continue it thru private messages... just be sure to CC me on it though

The SRT-6 is intercooled. Same with the AMG SLK320.
The intercooling is actually to prevent detonation, by cooling the intake air after the compressor, or turbo, is done with the incoming air.
Whether the compression takes place in the pistons or in the blower/turbo, it's the temperature which will cause detonation.
