drivers side door lock fell out

drivers side door lock fell out
i walk to my car the door lock fell out as i was driving away, thought someone broke in, but it looks like a screw that held it in came loose. I took the panel off but no easy way to get in to replace the missing screw. anyone ever have this happen? know of how to get in there to put the screw back on?
