Default Knock sensor question

Does anyone know if there is a way to read the output from or knock sensors? I would really like to be able to log knock on my ZT-2/DashDAQ if possible. I know its just a 5v sensor, so I am sure I could just tap the signal wire and wire it in as 0-5v user input but would have idea where to start trying to figure out what the knock voltage equates to in terms of knock count. If anyone can help me with this it would be much appreciated.

Thanks,
Bryan
