Spoiler flashing: For highly electronic trained only!
Hi all! I'd like to get some expert help from the pros!
As there may be a lot of you who do electrical work on automobiles I thought of asking you a couple of questions.
This is the scenario.
I have a SRT coupe
I have a N/A coupe BCM
I have a N/A wing
I have done the wiring
I have the spoiler switch
I have all the wiring setup into the BCM
When I start the car the engine the spoiler switch button starts flashing.
Rear spoiler is used so I do not know it's quality. I did the setup exactly how it is in the N/A.
4 cables from rear spoiler, 2 from cabin switch, 1 from "+" battery (with circuit) all to go to BCM.
NOTE: Battery is new.
1. As the flashing occur I guess I have wired everything correct but there is some error on the way.
2. I have check the documentation and there is a guide on how to check the whole thing. Just wanted to hear your thougts.
3. Is there a way of reseting the spoiler? As I got it in "erect" position ;D I would like it to "go down" ;D
4. possible to make a switch ON/OFF without connecting the BCM?
All help would be appreciated.
Do I have to some sort of RESET ESP/BAS for it to work properly?

I am lookiong through the forum otherwise it is the 05161797AA kit that will be

I am ordering the repair kit and I am hoping for the best.
[05161779aa] I checked everything and the spoiler gets power when I push the switch in the cockpit so I guess the fault lies at the motor. It did have some sort of corrosion and looked like something had leaked from the actual motor so I guess (hope rather) that is where the dilemma lies.
fingers crossed ...

If the erection lasts for more than 4 hours, seek immediate medical attention.
Sorry, I could not resist. Good luck in getting it resolved my friend.
