Manual says first service is at ~7,000 miles :!: :?: :!: FSS will self-adjust to your driving habits and tell you when to do an A or a B service. Being as the folks that designed the car designed the FSS, I'd go by what it says vs. what a dealer or a TV ad or whatever says.

Your first service is at 7k .The recomended oil is a0-40 synthetic. This a reasonable sevice interval for synthetic oil.The vehicle learns your driving style and adapts to it.There are some minor adjustments ,but nothing that would cause a power increase.

Knuckledragger, I believe jamikest is also a crossfire tech from Florida. I responded to a post from him on the roadster site. Drop him a line, I'm sure you two will have lots to talk about. Just make sure to let the rest of us know what the latest news is about the crossfire

There have been several discussions on this forum concerning oil change intervals. As with anything else, folks are free to change the oil at whatever interval they feel comfortable with but your above statement is incorrect.

No where in the owners manual does it state at what "specific" mileage interval when service is due. The FSS defaults to 7,000 miles when it is reset. The system goes on to determine when service is due based on information from a sensor that evaluates the condition of the oil in your car. Service can be due before or after 7,000 miles. Chrysler can not void your warranty for following the schedule as established by the FSS.

If you have any information that contradicts my post, please share your source with us.
