Default Drag Strip Times

I recently took my new Crossfire out to the local dragstrip for a baseline run before any mods were installed

Car had 450 miles total

Traction control was turned off

Tranny left in Drive

I tried to go around the water box but the tires got wet so i did a light hazing out of the box to try and remove any dripping water

I made 3 passes (hot laps) within a 1 hour period and all the results were very consistent

60 ft time = 2.1 - 2.2 seconds

1/8 mile time = 9.8 - 9.9 seconds

1/4 mile time = 15.2 - 15.4 seconds

91 octane gas @ 1/2 tank

Not earth shattering, but a good place to start

Default Brake Torque & Mph

I did brake torque off the line to the point the tires started spinning so a little more practice is required

Top speed was 91.7 mph on the best run down to 90.3 on the slowest run

I agree that this should have been in the other forum (racing)....sorry

Best regards,

Best regards,
you want the tires to spin some off the line to get the cars momentum going = lower 90 ft. time and better 1/4 times

I would venture to say once the car gets a few more miles on it... HEH your speeds and times will improve...
