I'll post some picks when I install it, but it will probable be a while. Sometime in late July.

Can you post some pics of the exhaust itself before it is installed? I'd like to see what Borla has in mind for the Crossfire.

Ok, but I am not certain what I have is what the "final" Borla production system will look like. I have e-mailed Borla today asking the configuration of their production system. I'll post their reply when I get it.

Thanks, Jimbo. I'm curious to see if the production Borla system has the extra muffler like yours has.

BTW I'm also very curious to see what you think of it when you get it installed. I looked long and hard at it on ebay and almost went for it.

Ya, thats why I haven't put it on yet. Waiting for Borla's final system to be released. I would be easy to eliminate the extra muffler and I don't want to have to take if off once I put it on.

I like the stock tips better than the Borla round ones.
I wonder if they can be switched out somehow?

Why don't I send you shipping monies and you can send the "PROTO" to me, I'll have it installed and give a report to everyone!!

ORRRRRRRRRRRRR, you can sell it to me and I can do the same!!

BTW, I talked to BORLA last night, on the phone, and they said they will be (should be) releasing the price and part number in a couple of weeks.

The man I talked to said he didn't have any illustration he could look at to describe the unit to me.

I ALSO called MAGNAFLOW and they said they have nothing in the plans for us.

I got the MF Muffler and my muffler man is trying to get a muffler that has the "IN-PIPE" on the side like the stock setup rather than in the middle.

I TOO, want more sound.............................but not too much more!!!

Thanks for the offer, but I'll hang on to it. I have a buddy how runs a local muffler shop and he can modify the pipes for me in necessary.

The Borla tips could easily be replaced with the factory tips - just a little
cutting and welding.

I talked to BORLA again today and the man said it will be 30-60 days before the system will be released. He ALSO said he is quite sure the offset resonator will probably be part of the system.
He didn't say it WOULD, just it PROBABLY WOULD!!!!!!!!!!!!
I asked if I could buy a prototype and he said "They don't sell prototypes" and I asked about the one that was sold on eBay (no names mentioned) and he said that was not authorized and then seemed to catch himself and wouldn't elaborate any further on that topic.
ANYWAY................30 to 60 days for the BORLA system is the latest I have heard.

Thanks for the info. I didn't tell Borla I had the "prototype," I figured they would not sell a "prototype" system. Who knows. It does say Borla on the muffler and tips. Welding is a little ruff. I figure the muffler and tips are worth what I paid.
