well, lets hope the battery will fix it...all those things can be attributed to the battery since it affects all the sensors mentioned...lol.... We shall see... For future referrence...at this point the 2008's probabley have the white top varta...and are heading into 4 yrs...so anyone before the 2008 should be considering a battery replacement...maybe that is why the I thought '04's had more gremlins, their batteries just went first....lol...

Well. New battery--terminals cleaned. Morning was fine. Evening, it acted up again. I plugged in code reader. no codes. After i sputtered half a mile, car started running fine. Also stopped in a store, and ran fine after I left. so no codes, new battery, and still gremlins.

Is the SC running when it should? Not enough air would make for a rich mixture and low power, you did say the SC ran on and off at idle.
Maybe it is not functioning properly.

I was told by my indy MB mechanic that you should get the Bosch replacement CPS because in the past he's had issues with the off brand ones. He also mentioned that the plastic connector that plugs into it often breaks upon removal so he generally replaces that as well.

Matt, have you ever had a DRB III hooked into your system. Unless your MB mechanic has one, you can't see the inners of the other 6 modules in our Xfires. A 9043 multiplex cable is req. to bring the entire electronic system into view to see if any codes are hidden within. The P codes are avail. with most plug in testers, but it stops there when it comes to our cars. Even the techs at Autoenginuity wern't able to come up with an advanced software disc to work with their basic system for the Xfire due to Chryslers addition of too many variables that they modified within our cars. Be sure to let us all know what the prob. was after it's found. Thks

The dealer is replacing the IAT temp sensor as it was showing high voltage. We will see wednesday if that clears everything up..

They told me to be happy it was SRT vs. NA as the price difference is about $400 higher for the NA.

That's psychology they are using, just to make you feel good, I do not think it is as clear cut as they say.

Why would the temp sensor be more for the N/A??

I think it's because the price included the MAF housing and the MAF/IAT sensor. The list price for those together is over $400.

Same thing happens to me, but usaully only when I run it hard.

Now this only seems to happen when I am running regular fuel though it.

When I run Premium though it takes off great and runs smooth and easy.

If you have been running regular though it that could be your problem.

-just a thought

Unhappy Re: update on stalling Code P0562

I need help. My car is stalling at lights, stop signs etc, Just got it back for the second time at the dealer. Had transmission seal leak, oil-valve covers leaking, bas-esp that ended up being the steering angle sensor. I had a tuneup done. Transmission fluid change and it is still stalling at lights etc. Was not doing that prior to visit to dealership. Does anyone have any ideas on this. I dont know anything about cars except driving and gassing. LoL. I do know a little but not much. So any and all help would be greatly appreciated. Oh yea and one more thing. I just spent a pile of money on these last repairs as you all should no so that is why I am coming here. Wish I had known about this before. I have an '04' with about 97000 miles on it. It has definitely given my a good bit of trouble. I need help!!!

First thought is a vacuum leak or the engine cover is not down tight.
Get a fault code reading done somewhere there could be a fault listed there. No engine light?
This problem arose after the repairs so they missed something.

fingers crossed, but it seems like it was a poor ground connection. Been about two weeks without drama.

You tickle all the grounds you could locate or find on in particular that might be the cause?
