update on stalling Code P0562
So I am driving the car today. I felt it runs a little rough, and thought....here we go again....sure enough.. It sputters and looses power. Get to work, then try to leave and it starts up again. finally sputters for a bit, then goes back to normal and runs fantastic. Never one Check engine light.
Yes, have 50 miles on new bosch CPS.
Has anyone else chased this around? I bought the car to enjoy, not to worry. Kinda suprised that MB product would have this type of gremlin.
Any other thoughts? My codereader says "errror" when I try to read any codes.
thanks

Also same thing can be caused by our fuel filters.
Check valves and regulator valves......they all can fail and cause this problem.
Oh ya no check engine light either
when similar problems pop up that act like the cps, then I would look at the throttle positon sensor. Do a simple throttle reset...first...see if it helps... even new CPS can be bad...so don't fully rule that out. But definitely electrical...I would think...

It happens!
Not sure if this has been covered in your previous thread, if any but you should have a temporary means to monitor your fuel pressure while this is happening to rule the fuel system out.
As you have read, I have been fighting a rough running condition. Today, I tried to run diagnostics to pull codes. It smoked my reader. After a deep breath i started car, and heard clicking in front of motor. It appears clutch for supercharger is cycling while car is at idle. Also during this time, car is very rich and blowing black smoke. The car is still idling very rough with now power.
I have already tried throtle reset and replaced CPS.
Input?
thanks again.

message to tighed 1. i read a post sometime ago before i was a member about how you solder rcm's. i own a 2004 crossfire and am having a problem that i think is a result of the rcm. engine cranks but will not turn over. leave it alone for a while and bam, cranks right up. do you still do this for rcm"s? do you have a loaner you would be willing to part with, and then i could send you mine? need help bad. thanks

we are hoping so. have had a terrible time with the no starting. love the car so much, but hard to trust it this way. sucks. willing to try almost anything. and after reading all the posts on this problem, he sounds like the go to guy.
so after getting ready to have car towed to dealer, I bought a different code reader, and it came up with #562, which the book says low voltage.....
The car seems to run fine today, perhaps a weak battery?

Have you read this:
Mercedes-Benz P0562 OBD/DLC Error Code - System Voltage Low
Mercedes-Benz P0562 OBD/DLC Error Code - System Voltage Low
When I see dogs described as excellent like this one, I wouldn't consider purchasing anything from this dealer.
I hope you all figured out that the above comment was meant to be in another post.

Quite a few threads you've started, so it's difficult to track as one problem, or any number of multiple of issues in play.
As stated, if it's the original white battery, I'd change it, and make sure you reset that Low Voltage Code, and clear the system.
Then monitor Codes going forward.
Other thread mentions black smoke, running rich, rough idle, stalling, and SC clutch slipping.
I'm trying to see a low voltage battery causing those type of symptoms, but just can't find my way there.
Some have suggested a faulty replacement CPS, which has merit.
But lord knows I've been very wrong in the past, and maybe that battery is the root of all evil....nothing would surprise me anymore...!!!

Why not list all problems in one post, this is begining to be a tough one to keep in ones head.
Are we going to get updates to the update.
