Default Driver side window problem

driver side window has about a 2 inch play in it
it rattle over any bumb i go, has lots of wind noise and when i wash the car i get some water inside,

i showed it to my mechanic he said it can be either an adjustment, or clips or might need a new regulator

we are going to open the panel monday and check the problem, does any one have a similar experience.

Here is a photo of the door with the panel removed and the adjustment points indicated. Driver side door will be the same.

Thanks I ended up taking it to my mechanic today and he opened the panel, and we saw the screw from the clip or something had fallen out and was at the bottom, just picked it up and put the screw back in place. Now there is no more play or air leak in the windows.
