I have exactly the same problem on my SRT! Thanks to your great write up and illustrations, I'm going to have a go at adjusting it myself.

I had a water leak near the triangle in the passenger side window. I had the dealership adjust the window (under warranty). It took them 2 times but finally adjusted the window and no more leak.
