I may want it depending on the price. I'd like to have a TCU tune but want to keep mine in case I dislike the tune. Send me a PM if your wanting to sell it.

Are you certain that you need a TCM or do you really need the Conductor Plate? I believe the one below is for the SRT6 :

I have a good (previously installed) conductor plate and CHA connector that I will sell cheap. I replaced them thinking they were bad and it was the EGS (trans control unit).

According to the info I read on the forum, the problem I am having is a bad TCM, the fix was replacing it. I have a dronning, shuttering sensation between 20 and 30 miles per hour, the same as the other fella I read about. He had a heck of a time getting it diagnosed, and finally, after checking Mercedes and Chrysler dealers the mechanics finally figured it was the TCM. They replaced it and the problem was solved. question: is the TCM and the TCU the same component?

The TCU/TCM is simple to replace compared to the Conductor Plate. The TCU/TCM is mounted on a aluminum plate located on the passenger side footwell under the carpet. 15 minutes, a 10mm wrench and some side cutter pliers for removing two zipties. It would be perfect if you could find someone in your area to try their TCM to see if it really is the cause of your issue. Just a thought.

Also, try MrMoPar to see if he has a TCU from an NA !!!

Good luck.

HA, "reprogramming may be needed, check with a dealer". Good luck finding a dealer that knows or cares.

ZERACER - you are right, I talked to the ebay seller and he told me it would need to be programmed or it would not work...

I wish tighed1 would chime in on this, from what I've read in other threads, he's got some hands-on experience with the TCM...

i have the fix for you!! i bought an ebay tcu that had all the proper # and when i installed it guess what ? limp mode!! turns out many tcu's are the same but the files installed are different for the car its used on. in my instance i needed the slk32 file and the tcu was programmed for the slk320. sooo off to speedriven the tcu went and marcin flashed the proper files onto the tcu for 100$. total cost for the tcu to work properly was 235$ shipped and new the cost was 883$!!!
so get the proper tcu and ship it to marcin and you can save hundreds
