Default 2004 Coupe Spoiler

Spoiler activates at slow city speeds on it's own and goes into non-recess mode w/ blinking red light..Have to stop and turn off engine and restart to be able to recess spoiler..anyone? Plus battery light shows on and off and alternator shows no charge on and off...Thanks

Fix the battery light issue and chances are the spoiler problem will go away. Spoiler does weird things with low voltage. First get the battery checked or if OEM, replace it. Then proceed to charging system diagnoses if problem continues.

Mine does exactly the same thing & has done for 5 months. It's now stopped working all together but the battery is fine.

Mine did actually turn out to be the cogs on the motor. Basically they had snapped off & I have replaced the whole part with a second hand unit. It now works fine & as it should.

Boy you have really had that spoiler go up and down many many times. Waving at the ladies?

Mine was going up at the most bizzare times so I could have also been waving at the guys!

The flappy spoiler looks better in my opinion.

Will post up a photo of the broken bit to see if these parts are available, that way I also have a spare!
