When closing the top on my roadster you have to push up on the black metal rail and pull down on the handle at the same time. Haven't been back for first service yet but a little afaid of anyone messing with the top gear. Dealer not to swift. Either push up on the rail over the drive door or passanger one. Any one else!

 

That's definitely wrong! Sounds like just an adjustment but you shouldn't have to deal with it. If your dealer can't fiix it, don't hesitate to go to another dealer. After two months of the clueless buffoons where I made my purchase I went to the next nearest Chrysler dealer and they resolved all my issues, except luggage but that's another story, in one visit.
