Jim, that is odd and I dont have that operation here. If I punch it hard the a/c goes away for some time until the vacuum returns, I have never checked that but WOT causes a/c to stop during the thrash.Woody

Yes Waldig mine does the same thing at wot but the strange thing is it will sometimes run while i'm backing out of the driveway as soon as i move forward about 20 ft. it goes off and about 2 blocks later it comes on,,, i have to try it at idle and see if it does it there. I am going to go out and start the car ( yes the ac is on it stays on down here ) let it idle for a while and see it it does the same. jim

Well finally my air conditioner stopped working, after doing some research on here, I found out that it could be the resistor, which sits right on top of the fan , underneath the globe box you remove one panel, then you remove the second panel, and you were there. The resistor listed the Chrysler dealer at over $400,and that the Mercedes dealership just under 400.. I found one online for $60, took about 10 min. to put it in, two screws and it's out, use the old red wire because the new was not long enough.

Mine is been running about a week now with absolutely no problems. Jim

Hey Jim, where did you order the part from? My AC recently started doing this and I would like to fix it.
