no,You only hear about the people's problems with the car, never the good part.usually when people are looking to buy a crossfire, they say what problems you have with it. No one ever asked anyone that had no problems, I started a thread couple years ago stating the same thing. I went through search. I went through all my post, it doesn't exist anymore so I thought I'd start a new one. Cars that have no problems, that's what I'm looking for. so that anyone going to buy a crossfire can look at it and see that there are crossfires that have no problems, jim

After a year of having my SRT-6 and a few mods here and there, no problems with mine (knock on wood).

Granted I don't drive my 2 that much anymore, but when I drove the roadster, she did very well. IC pump, AIT, and CPS is all she has had. The coupe hasn't been driven much either but, it has had 0 problems. I have a ton of installs to do to the coupe, so that might change. But, I really think for a performance car, they have been flawless...

I've had my '04 for 2 1/2 Months now.. 84K when I bought it, and close to 90K now... I've fixed:

broken bracket on the Drivers Fog light, and the disk that always falls off
Headliner
RCM
Highbeam Headlight bulb
cowling underneath the front bumper
Next weekend, I'm fixing, or replacing the Electric Seat Relay, under the dash

Nothing Major, but as I told a co-worker... If you don't like to "Tinker" you probably won't like this car. LOL

I Love mine so far..

Problems we've had with the SRT-6
2nd owner 31k miles with lots of upgrades. not a daily driver, but always drivin hard.

Headliner fell
headlights fogged, i was able to sand and buff then clear again altho fogging again.
ashtray wouldnt stay closed until it was modified
cup holder couldnt stay down until modified

only mechanical issue we've had was the converter started slipping bad, but i think that was due to the combination of 500ftlb torque and too many 1.5x 60's.

MB really gave this car a stout platform, we plan on pushing the cars limits even further next year after i install some more safety equipment.

It's a 2004 model that has been a dependable daily driver.. and turns heads just about as often. Her body lines and looks have people saying "really?" when I tell them it's an 04. Then they are intrigued to learn her pedigree.

I've owned my DD for around 18 months and have already racked up 30K miles in that time (90K + total).

The Bad:

- Killed the rear end at the dragstrip, but that was expected. Proved to be a great excuse for me to buy a Wavetrac.
- Cupped tires (I'm blaming it on the inability to rotate them).
- Cup holder erection. Proved to be a nice excuse to get a usable cubby.
- Leaking hatch / spoiler. Simple and inexpensive fix.

The Good:

- The car is very reliable. With over 90K miles on the odometer, I had no qualms with driving it 1,400 miles in 36 hours last week.
- Very fast for the investment. With a few mods low 12's high 11's is attainable and expected.
- The XF is very solid, and doesn't feel like a junky econo box.

The car still gets plenty of looks and compliments, especially at the track. It's always nice to see how intrigued onlookers are at how quick these things are and how well they stand up to the newer heavy-weight sports cars.

All in all, I'm very happy with it as my daily driver. And yes, it gets winter duty also.

The only real problems I've had are the Damn tickets. In the two years I've had it I've managed to get three. Two at 86 and one at 93. I've taken the car from 54k to 91k and I drive it hard. I get compliments about the looks every day. The other day coming out of a hospital parking garage the attendant said this is the first two tone Crossfire I have ever seen. I have the carbon fiber hood. He said man when you bought this car you bought an instant classic. Not that I care about that. I'm too old to pay the classic game. I bought it to drive on these twisties that I live in. I use the car for my heart exercise.

No issues with my '07 (21K miles) other than valve cover leaks repaired twice under warranty.
