Squeal coming from fan at low speeds.
Just replaced my blower motor because my old one had gone out. I am glad to have found and fixed the problem, but now at low fan speeds, I have a very noticeable squeal coming from the motor. Trying to get this resolved before I put everything back together. Any ideas? Thanks.

I saw it once. It's "eyes only", "burn after reading"

Is it a new motor? I guess not. Does it have ball bearings or bronze bearings?
When you put everything back together, did you accidentally over tighten anything?
Took a video of the noise to give you a better idea:

Maybe check your intake plenum and make sure it's not blocked with leaves or debris.
I think I'd be tempted to take it out and put it on the bench with my riding mower battery so I could tell a little better what was happening .....
No, it is not a secret. He is having an apparent issue with a used part. I simply prefer to deal with any type of issue such as this via direct communication, not via forum posts.
Same line of thought, oil ends of shaft, check installation, make sure no debris.
Instead of direct communication with me, there are two lines of communication started. One I have direct involvement in, and one I do not.

Replaced old resistor with the new one I had ordered to originally diagnose the problem and this stopped the noise. So, as it turns out, it appears that my original resistor went bad, thus frying the original blower motor. I replaced the blower motor with the new one MrMoPar sold me, running it through the original resistor. The fan now worked, but there was an awful squeal coming from the vents. I then replaced the resistor as well and the problem ceased.
Thanks for the suggestions and help from all.

Great, glad is worked out.
So we have found a data point, if fan starts acting up, most likely resistor failing. Replace it before it fries the motor.
