In Michigan you can drive in a few limited areas... like downtown royal oak... and private roads... there are other limited locations.. kinda like protesting... lol ... but down south you can drive pretty much anywhere with them on... kinda neato ... but for now its just for showing off! and BOY THEY ARE BRIGHT!!!

I pulled up to the Redline meet it was really kickin because of Woodward Dream Cruise next weekend... the Hot import nights cruising goes down the weekend before...

and well I pulled up and got a MOB of people asking me questions about the car... I seemed to pull in a lot of the attention from the JDM cars... kinda felt bad... everyone loved the lighting system... it looks hella professional with 11 tubes under there... the glow is IMMENSE!!! ...

but since I did it in a Crossfire... heard some slack from a lot of the JDM guys... but its okay I still love my car and I don't mind going to those events and just looking at everyone elses!!!

but the lighting is REALLY bright... when I hit the H/O interior light switch oh lordy... my girlfriend said she is gonna go blind because of it lol ... its a really smooth blue hue though!! I love it!

Looks like a good job you've done there. You must like the colour blue a lot then!

Thanks Sal! Yes blue is good... but it was mainly because I believe the Crossfire should be introduced into a different avenue of buyers... This car can handle equal to the Rx8 and the 350z... but many people will ignore it because of its "American" background... well its not American! And I want people to say... holy!! That thing looks like a nice compact car!!!

And so far from the reviews of last night... people were just stunned to see a Xfire at the meet and second of all... more stunned at the looks of it!!

One thing about the ricer car... owners they'll spend more on the mods than what they bought the car for! Doesn't make sense to me.

yes... then they sat there and said to me... MY GOD !! How much did you pay for that car!!!... I looked a few of them who were driving Toyota Supra's and said WAY LESS then what you did all that for!!! I mean these supra's were running SWEET JZ2 engines with modded turbo's and body kits... tons of lighting... and they acted like my car was around 100k!!... I'm guessing a few of them might have even thought that lol ...

Boba, that's AWESOME !!

I haven't even checked out the video yet.

Does anybody do wheel well lights? I'm thinking that color morphic wheel well glow set ups would be a super addition.

Thanks a ton Sea! I was thinking the same idea next... only a few things I can REALLY put on left ... I mean this thing is LOADED with LED's and Neons now...

was thinking...

8x two 6 LED Tire Flys in each wheel well!
2x 6 LED Tire Flys in the top grill...
2x 6 LED Tire Flys in the lower grill...
1x 4 in neon above the center console.. another one.

BobaFettm -

This is great - I didn't even know such lighting kits existed. I have been living in Korea a bit too long maybe. While I could never install them on my Crossfire, mainly because I will be driving in sensitive secure areas, I can only imagine the impact you car must make.

Watched the first video - need to a some audio - Wall of Voodoo comes to mind. Or maybe Liquid Liquid - hey that's it, Liquid Liquid.

Haha! Yes I could make it into a crazy rave party ... I just enjoy it being different then everyone else! ... I'm sure there is an Xfire in the USA with a underbody lighting kit... but I hardly doubt its running 11 tubes of Tire Fly... because a) its expensive with that many... and b) it can't fit anymore!!! LOL! Its packed underneath really close to each other!

And I doubt they'd enjoy those lights at a high security area.

Yeah I asked the owner at Neuspeed in Camarillo why do kids buy all this stuff ? They could buy a real car instead. But I guess it's now a click thing. Mod your ricer.
But the lights are cool Boba have fun.
