Default parts swapping?

My 06 refused to start several times the last couple of months. It would turn over but wouldnt start. The starter would stay engaged until the key was turned all the way to off. Also the spoiler started acting crazy, going up for no reason. The dealer said it was the crank sensor and replaced it ( $300.0 parts only) Now he tells me that it still will not run and say it's the ECM (2300.00 parts only) Shouldn't a bad ECM show up when he first scanned it? Is there a way to test the crank sensor after it is removed? Any help will be greatly appreciated

Don't spend your money yet. Do a search for these types of issues you're having. You will more than likely find the problem listed somewhere in this forum. These guys are a lot of correct help.

Chrysler stepped up to the plate and paid 75% of the total bill for the ECM replacement on my Crossfire. I was turned down three times but persistence pay off. Still I thought it was very good of them to help. Been a mopar fan since my wife (then girlfriend) had two GTXs a Cuda340 and a Chrysler 300.
She even had an AMX. Her daddy had a car lot. Thanks again fellas
