Default Passenger seat belt won't click

Hey folks!

Got a huge problem on my passenger side. The seat belt won't click into the socket. What can be done about this? Is there such a thing as a warranty on these parts or any easy fix to this problem? Or do these sockets just wear over time?

Thanks,
Nick

These should be pretty bullet proof, have you dropped anything down the slot?

This would be my guess, how hard is it to take out and turn upside down to dump out whatever is in there?

When I look at the slot it looks like everything is where it is supposed to be and working fine. Does anyone actually know how I can remove the whole assembly (if necessary) and dump it out?

I am pretty sure the down-loadable service manual shows the removal of the seatbelt parts all you need to do is start reading and become familiar with the service manual. You'll find it buried in there somewhere. Hint, you might have to remove the seat but maybe the seat goes forward enough to access the base of the seat belt on the passenger side. Time to start reading but I would first go see if the right seat can slide forward enough to access the base of the belt buckle.

Where do I find the service manual?

Didn't have much time to look at the seat belt yesterday but the whole assembly seems to be working fine. Sure looks like I might have to take it apart. You guys are most likely right that something is probably stuck somewhere in there! Don't have any other explanation

Here is a good place to start, remember to follow the instructions to download em (right click and save)... Hope you get the buckle fixed!
