Default Electric Seats

Hi,

The electric seats on our Crossfire don't always work. I've searched the forums and people have said "oh it's a loose connection somewhere" but I don't think that's true for me.

Sometimes my seats work sometimes they don't. Sometimes they come back to life by themselves. However if I need to adjust and they won't I can disconnect the battery long enough for the clock to loose it's memory then the seats work again.

Does this suggest some kind of computer related issue?

Cheers
Louis

I have the similar symptoms, either both work or both refuse to operate. Have you been able to track this down?

The most common issue is fractured solder on the little circuit board that is part of the seat relay which is down under the dash. This will cause the seats to move, then refuse to move, then move at times - then quit again - with no rhyme or reason. This is such a common issue, we usually fix a few relays at our meets in North Georgia -but unless you are experienced at SMD solddering, you are way better off just to spend the $30 and order a new relay.

Order a relay and change it yourself!
