The most common issue is fractured solder on the little circuit board that is part of the seat relay which is down under the dash. This will cause the seats to move, then refuse to move, then move at times - then quit again - with no rhyme or reason. This is such a common issue, we usually fix a few relays at our meets in North Georgia -but unless you are experienced at SMD solddering, you are way better off just to spend the $30 and order a new relay.
