Check this out! Finally Dual Intakes
Hey Check this out,
I finally got the New dual air intakes. The presentaition is that great, because I only had like 30 seconds before my wife had to go to work, and I was watching my Son. Tell me what ya'll think. To see the pictures go to my album, or the general pictures. Thanks everyone

Thanks for your input. As soon as my wife gets home. I'll be free to go and take the pictures I wanted to. The Ceramic/ Galv. Steel tubes run down to 2 cone Air filters. I have them placed in a spot were there is very minimal air turbulance. Actually the left side faces right into the old port hole, and the right side, is just off to the side of its original porthole. Man it makes a killer sound. As far as I can tell, it seems to idle nicer, and run cooler. As soon as I can I'll get some stats for you. Thanks again
Your timing is great as I to have beeen giving this some thought.
I noticed that when driving the xf for pro long peiords that the performance becomes sluggish. I have felt this on most new cars and contribute it to eng bays that are virtually water tight and restrict air flow as a result. As the eng heats up so does the filter surround, casing, piping, ect and sluggest performance of all that hot air is the result.
Cured this on my 330ci bm with a cold air induction kit that insure the casing surrounding the K&N cone air filter was cooler than the eng compartment.
The above example is what I have in mind but, I was considering using 2 pipercross induction kits see www.needforspeed.co.uk these kits are housed in carbon fiber keeping the heat away.
Question are those hoses heat resistance.
how did you get them into the shape.
does the t junction hit the inside of your hood, where did you get that part.
As the viper pipercross requires a intake hose any suggestion as to achieve max air from outside. I was thinking bottom vent inbetween fog lights. I see you replaced yours with wire mesh. Did you buy or manufactor yourself. If bought were??
Sorry for all the question
