Default Check out what I'm doing to my Xfire...

Ok guys here goes...

I order today the Axis Supermesh rims. 18's in the front and 19's in the back. I will use the same tires the car came with. I have only had the car a month so they are in great condition. Link to the rims down below. They cost me 1250.00. The 18's have a 2inch lip and the 19's have a 3.5inch lip. Should look sweet!

Pioneer 6400CD it cost me about 1000.00 when i bought it about 2 yrs ago.

Next Item:Pyle DVD Player w/ built-in TV tuner

I bought a this item on ebay for 115.00 bucks. It's not top of the line but it will do the job.

Next Item:HID's 8000k about 315.00

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...RK%3AMEWA%3AIT

Next Item:Tints

Next Item:Clifford Alarm 850 Itelliguard about 300.00 plus shipping. My uncle is a cop and knows someone that does favors for him. So he's getting the alarm for 210 plus 90 installation.

Let me know what you guys think. Hopefully I won't catch to much heat for this. I will post pics in about 2-3 weeks. I should get the rims by the end of the week and have them installed next weekend cause of labor day weekend.... GO CANES!!!!!!!

Just a word of caution with your choice of rims.... I would suggest finding a good set of very low dust brake pads to put on first. There are a lot of nooks and crannies in those rims... I wouldn't want to try keeping them clean with the stock pads installed.

I have EBC "GreenStuff" pads on my car. They do cut down the dust somewhat, but I'll be looking for something different the next time around.

Good luck and keep us posted.

Nice wheels....in fact I've been looking for some wheel upgrade in my Crossfire too. I like the styling so tell me how it looks in your crossfire. I saw a similar one in TireRack but I'm not sold out yet just by looking at it in the wheel simulation.

Ace sounds like a nice setup you have planned. I'm in Kendall so if you ever down to roll out drop me a pm. By the way I'm about to chip my car too. I decided on Upsolute, the guy here in Miami has done some of my freinds vw's and stuff and his work seems to be pretty good.

I'm game. Lets stay in contact after the Hurricane passes. Much too close up by my neck of the woods, make that all of us here on the East Coast of Florida until that storm move North of us.

I want to do it no doubt, just don't know too much about this chip. My business is next door to UPR Products, they do Mustangs, and they have a dyno but do not chip for our cars. I wish they did because they are very good, and real good guys to. I looked up the Upsolute gentlemans name and will have my friends over there see if they know anything about him.

Are the wheels the same offset? And did they give you a weight difference? About 900 Bucks?

Please keep us updated with pics if possible.
I'm particularly interested in the HID lights. I just bought my crossfire Sunday and the lights will be the first thing to go :!:
