induction kit
Just wondering if anyone has purchased any mods from this company
www.mercedesperformance.co.uk
I've looked on their website and they already have an induction kit ready for the clk320.I presume this will fit in the space in the x-fire (very last picture). This engine gets very hot so will fitting the cone into the engine bay create any more hp as leaving k&n's in box as I've got now.

Good find... I would contact them and ask if their systems work on SLK320 as most of their info says only SLK230/170 not SLK320/171. Here is another MBZ Tuner in Los Angeles who offers the same mods.

Macjake Simon is going to see me next week for the ecu up grade, just to let you know. Thank for the tip.
This mod for the air induction , as far as I can tell, one could do this mod by themself. It look like flexable aluminium ducting, clamps, and a cone airfile with cover.
You can get the same type of filter from demon tweeks for about 50-100 ’’’.
As we have two air induction pipes on our cars with, what could be argued, a less efficent box air filter,. is this new design so much more efficent as only one induction pipe is required.
That I am not sure about and would like to hear someone, more quailfied than me, option of it.

Well, I just reconfigured my dual system, that makes it a lot easier to work with the mass air flow senser. I now have it inline with the my tubing. I also tried something a little different, and boy did it respond. I'm running only one air cone, with a special heat shield that you can hook a hose up to, from an air scoop. (Which I also made) I'm not really running the scoop just yet, because I'm still working out some space issues. Any way I'm running one air filter on one tube, and the other tube, I have running into the original ram air inlet. Wow, now thats some ram air! I did place a high density , high flow piece of foam inside the non-filter having tube. Along with some fine mesh to catch any passing debris, it works really well. I'll post a rendering or something for all you to see.
