Engine not start. All lights ok, but no noise.
Hi all.
I have long time problem.
Sometimes in summer start do not start. Put key move to possition but nothing, like if you do not have press clatch. But i do. NO noice from engine. Last year it happend only if engine is hot. I come to comewhere and want go in few minutes and cannot start, but after 30 minutes normaly start. And work 10 days and again. IN winter it work normaly. Now is again summer and also do not start but engine is cold. BUt in 4 hours can again start normaly. What is interesting that when i put key on want start the fan of coller start working. But maybe it is normal. I alredy put it in MB servis. But they do not find nothing.
Do enybody know where can be problem?
Thnaks.

60000 miles. We already bypas pedal position. It is not that problem. We can start without clatch. But still same. Only fun of cooling engine start working when put the key. All light ok. But no start. When will be colder. All is ok.

Now we knock on relay in main box and it start or maybe just cool down. But maybe should be problem there. Now fan of cooler do not start when turn the key on, and car normly start. So the problem is in starting relay? Or any other suggestion?
If you are not willing to do as suggested to solve a common problem with the common answer why ask for more suggestions?
I have the same problem! The relays look good.
Any updates ??
Good morning, I know this has been answered several times (however I'm having trouble piecing it together). Replaced my RCM (last week), as I had the no start problem. New problem surfaced when the engine gets warm (temp gauge over the mid-level line) the car will not start after it is parked (it does crank like it wants to start). After 45 minutes it starts. Any thoughts. Thanks

If you put in anything other than a BOSCH part, I don't want to hear about any follow-up issues.

It is SELDOM the relays themselves - the issues are cracked solder around the pins in the post above yours. In fact, in the photo, it looks like one pin's solder is cracked pretty bad, but I can't be sure as the focus is not good. Rehflowing solder at all those pins in the corner may resolve any P401/air pump issues, I know that is what fixed mine.
Crossfire Owners Schedule:
Day 1 : Re-Solder pins on RCM , Wash and Wax
Day 2 : Purchase back-up CPS Sensor,
Day 3 : Drive like you Stole it
Day 4 : Repeat Day 3 thru .......

My best bet is:
The problem is on the Relay Control Board, in the engine control relay circuit. If there is no current supply from the engine control relay, the pulse module will not engage the starter.
Have the relay control board resoldered. NOT just the corner, but all of it.
There is a chance the engine control relay itself is bad, but it is more likely to be the solder connections on the board.
Also, if you're new, have this problem and are just now finding this thread, we need to be clear that you WILL NOT see the cracks around then pins by just "looking"at it. Your board needs to be inspected UNDER MAGNIFICATION or you will never find the problem.
