Default Need Help Upgrading Non-Supercharger to Supercharged

Hello everyone! For a while now I have been wanting to upgrade to the supercharger without selling the crossfire I have already to buy an SRT. Basically before I start buying parts I wanted to know which all parts I need. Can i just buy the Supercharger and it bolt right on to everything I already have on the car without modification? I have a 2004 Chrysler Crossfire. If you have any insights on parts I would definitely need, please uplaod your comments to this forum! Thanks!

Kleeman had a kit to fix you right up.. not sure if it's still available.. Was 7grand when it came out.. I've seen rumors on 9 grand now..

Plug and play so you'll be all set.

For cost, it would make more sense to buy the motor for a 32 amg rather than collect the internals. A lot is different in the motor. That's not even the hard or expensive part. You need all of the plumbing and brackets for the heat exchanger and intercooler... That's the hard part. Then you need an SLK32 amg ECU unlocked and coded to your car/keys using star das. - That's the expensive part.

Yeah I saw someone say 10K on another forum recently, not sure if true or not. What's worse is it isn't plug and play lol. You have to cut mounts and relocate things. I'll try to find the pdf of installation.

Got it at home myself.. Just thought a reality check on the price of this might make that SRT6 purchase look highly feasible .. LOL

Kinda like buy the Kleeman SC .. and get a car with it for oh.. 3 grand..

"IF" I had to have the extra ponies in my N/A .. I'd still be in line at the Turbo Thread.. (hint hint...) Search for BEGi

Yeah I agree with the reality check lol. Not so much on the turbo thread lol.

OP, I was going to do this to my car. As it turned out what I would recommend is getting an SRT. If you were wanting the 6-speed in the SRT then swap transmissions and sell the NA. It would be a project but it would be a lot more work to get the NA to house the SRT motor and components.
