Default Wheel Spacer Problems!!! Ahhhh

Guys, the episode goes on!

I received new Eibach 10mm spacers for the car, installed on all front and back and all went to plan.... shock / horror! I got all of vibration like the wheels required balancing, took off the front wheel spacers and all was good!

No idea why, the fit was tight and perfect, the spacers seemed to be in perfect condition, so why???

I've kept the rears on, car does handle and looks superb.. but why can I not get the front to perform without vibration, I have no idea.

HELP!

CAN YOU PROVIDE EIBACH REAR WHEEL SPACER PART #.
ALSO, DID YOU USED FACTORY REAR WHEEL BOLTS?

That's so wierd.. if it was the wheels, it would still vibrate when you take the spacers off, so it's not that.. so don't try getting them balanced...

I'd say maybe the spacers are slightly defective.. I mean thats the only thing that I can think of anyway.. if they are even a quarter milimeter off somewhere, it could affect the way the tires roll at, and cause a vibration.

bmerfan,

make sure you get a hub-centric spacers. Otherwise, you might get vibration at high speed.

the eibach spacers must NOT be hub centric...h&r's are...go with the h&r spacers.

Does your spacers look like the one posted above? there is a center ring.

It could still be the wheels only the spacer brings out the problem more.

Try the rears on the front.spacers I mean.

are you tightening the lugs on apposing sides...crossing from side to side as you tighten them? then using a torque wrench to 81 lbs.

can you take some pics of the spacers and post them?
