I have had my Crossfire for about 2 months now and i have noticed that my Temp. gauge is all over the place. When the car is on, the temp seems to be normal. But if its off, and the temp outside is say 75, my gauge will show 95+, even triple digits sometimes. After i turn it on, it gradually decreases. I know the temp gauge is in the front bumper and away from the hot engine bay. Does anyone elses do this?

 

I've not had a problem with this myself. Maybe your sensor is faulty? Take it back to the dealer.

 

the temperture is measured from outside the car. I have noticed that if I park on asphalt for a few hours when I 1st get in the car the temperature shows very high readings but after driving for a few minutes it seems to get in synch
