No brakes!
I think a rat got up under my hood and chewed through some wiring up near my master cylender and my brake fluid reservoir. My problem is that the hose that is connected to the brake fluid reservoir has a hole in it and the fluid keeps leaking out from the dirty little rats teeth. If anyone knows what this hose is called or can direct me to where I can find a fix I would appreciate it. I have searched for it from the parts catalogs presented on here. I initially thought it was connected to the brake booster but it is not it goes to the side of it and into the fire wall and disappears so I am not sure where exactly it connects to. I have contemplated cutting it then using heat shrink to seal it if i can. I would like to fix it correctly if possible. All the wiring can just be spliced and fixed I am not concerned. Its a 2006 coupe convertable manual 6 speed. And if anyone knows the fix to the problem of windows automattically rolling down about a 1/4 of an inch by themself I would appreciate the fix to that as well. Beautiful and fun damn car but man she is fickle like a woman.
So after some reading I have figured out that it is the clutch master cylender hose. I dont know if i have to replace the whole thing or if I can patch it southern engineer style. I suppose I will get out there and see what can be done.
