Actually, so do I. A guy that I work with owns a race team. Well its more like he has a Shellby Cobra, and has a driver. He's really good friends with Carole Shellby, and he is sending me to see Caroles Injection Molding guy. He's going to determine wether or not I can have it as a soled easy plug and play piece. I have a feeling that it won't be able to, but you never know.

Right on man thank you any way. I really appreciate it. I kind of already set something up with Caroles guy. But if it doesn't work out in any way, I'll definitaly keep your friend in mind.

Home Remoldeling.

I hope you do it soon I was hoping this would be some help since you are so busy.
But since yours works it should be really simple to get it made, all you need is the same rubber gasket that's on the original intake ! and it's done right !

Mine was almost exactly the same idea I just don't have the time to do it if it doesn't work !

what filters inline did you use ?

Well mine is a little different. If you notice in the pictures, the mass air flow sensor is not the same stock possition. If your looking at the picture, its up in the right hand corner. So the gasket can still be used, but it really isn't needed. I think I actually lost mine when I think about it. I bet that thing is 500.00 to replace.LOL

Oh I know I'm just kidding. I did say that it did come loose a couple of times. Those were some of the problems, that you were asking me about. I solved those problems by milling down the base a little differently, and it stays just fine.

D, don't talk SH** to the guy, who's going to be putting on your exhaust for you. Don't worry about me there captain.

Ya I did, you need to let me paint the "C" clamps black so it will match the plateau.

Lol... Wimper, Wimper... Are we going to have your truck there ? Because we'll need to bring out the lawn chairs and cooler and ghetto blaster, and strip pole and jacuzzi, barbeque for a start...

If not, I'll try to get Bob Z to bring his truck out... Let me know...

Saskins,

It would be a good idea before you go to see Carole Shelby's injection mold guy that you learned how to spell the legends name correctly. It is Carroll Shelby.

Dakota:

Don't be too hasty with SASKINS because his "tieping" and spelling "sux". I do believe I turned him on to the contacts at the Shelby Organization after spending a lovely afternoon at Carroll's house in Pittsburgh, TX last year.

Turned out my fiance's father and Carroll went to school together. And my future father-in-law was kind enough to take me up to the house and introduce me when we were visiting her family in Texas during the holidays.
