Intakes
I just wanted to share an update on the face lift of the dual intakes. Well It's totally different then what was once seen. All though I only have rough cuts, and I'll try to snap a quick pic tonight, so you can see the new look. Oh we gained sponcership. There is a company that is sponcering me with the materials, for a prototype. They were very excited to hear the ideas that I had. It was really cool to have someone, at first kinds of blow me off and just try to sell me something. And by the end of our hour and a half meeting telling me they were going to be giving me some really crazy materials, and want to see me put this thing together and really take off. It was really nice to have an un-biased support from a total stranger. I haven't seen that in a real long time. Especially in this greedy world we live in now.
That is very true. What are some of the other mods that you're thinking of doing? Reason being, I don't know whats out there right now. I really have'nt been able to look. The only things I've been looking for, have been materials for the intakes. Let me tell ya, that gets old really quick.
I'm working on the pictures. I took a couple, & now I just have to download them onto my computer
The only problem is, my puppy chewed up my fire-wire cable. I think I have another one, if not I'll run to the store. They will be posted some time today.

I'm not real sure. I haven't heard anything with Mopar. The thing is, is that the car is supposed to be a mopar car. Mopar makes parts for any thing but German manufactured vehicals, minus universal parts. So it would be cool to see.
The Borla cat-back is the same thing as the Mopar cat back. There was some cooperation between both companies apparently, though there are very few details anywhere. I haven't seen ANY dyno numbers on it. Check out the thread "borla yet ?" in the Exhaust forum. Basically, Borla made it and is selling it through Mopar dealers with a Mopar part #.
Right on, I'll have to look into that for sure. I'm looking into designing a set of headers. I don't think I'll do it myself, only because I don't have the strength after putting the intakes together. Oh ya I have a couple of pics for yall to see.
No, there no were near stock. Stock Who wants just stock. I'm thinking we bought these cars because, we like performance. The air filters are a custome in line filter. In line means inside the tubes themselves. So in other words to answer your question, the air filters are inside the tubing.
Well, I'll sell them when they have been tested and Tested , until I know they are completely 100% safe for your car. I also Have been tweeking with them here and there to see were the absolute best performance is. I want to sell you an intake system, that will blow your socks off. I don't want to offer a system that will only give you a 4.75 HP gain(Whidh it is not) Some other companies might do that, but not me. What I think people are forgetting sometimes is, that the development of a performance part takes a while to refine, and to mold into shape. Now I'm also a one man band here. I can not and will not sell you anything less then my best, I'm sorry that it has taken so long, especially to Mr. Root. Dude you have been the most patient of everybody So just hang in there guys.
The only probelms that I was having, was keeping the pipes on the mass air flow sensor, and keeping a sufficiant enough seal. I have that all worked out though. I just had to reshape the base of my "T" so that it would fit, and just have just a tiny, tiny bit of play. So that it would give a little with the engine movement, rather then stay stiff, and eventually shake it's self loose enough to lose significant power. When it happend you knew right away.
There have been other little things like fitting different sized tubing , air filteres, heat shields, couplers, etc. Pretty much everything that you see in the pictures at one time or another had a problem that I got to solve. It really has been a pain in the butt.
