I did do a search without much avail. I have a 04 XF with the standard hard-start issue. Looks like it's the fuel pump draining pressure back.

My main curiousity was if anyone had had good luck with any of the aftermarket pump makes? Or putting in an inline check valve?

if you flip the key to ON and then pause for ~ 3 seconds before turning the key all the way to engage the starter does it fire right up then?

 

I did a fuel rail leakdown test - definitely losing pressure. I haven't tired the key test yet though.
