Suspect bad ignition cylinder
Vehicle has died three times while driving, as if I just turn the key off. Now for no reason, it will not start. No clicking, all dashboard lights come on, cooling fan runs, but nothing happens. Gear shift will not work unless key is turned completely to the right (start position). Battery test OK! Any ideas?
Yank the Relay Control Module out and have someone go over the solder connections with a magnifying glass. The connections to the "Engine Control Relay", if they are cracked, will cause just what you have described.
But have the person go ahead and reheat and reflow EVERY connection on the board (there are only about two dozen in all, it's a simple board).
If the engine control relay output is not there, then there is no enable sent to the pulse module - and the starter wont' engage.

+1 on what PG stated.
Also, has battery been replaced lately? Still have the white Varta? Just cause all lights work doesn't mean the bat is good enough to start car.
Borrow a tester to check for any thrown codes. Refer to this thread for definitions...
