When is the best time to clean K&N filters. What should be used to clean. K&N cleaning kit or warm soapy water and let air dry.

The kit comes with cleaner and oil. Use the cleaner to clean, then rinse with clean water, allow to air dry, re-oil.

Buck is correct. I bought a large spray bottle of the oil, but I use Simple Green (30%) to clean.
