Unhappy 2006 Crossfire Will Not Start

Friday night, I came home, parked the car in the garage. Sunday morning I went to start the car. At first, I noticed that the automatic door locks did not work. I had to manually open the door. Then I went to start the car. The car started and abruptly stalled. I tried again, but the engine would not turn. The battery is good. I figure it might be the fuel line, maybe the fuel filter is dirty. Or the starter or solenoid. I went to check the fuse and when I opened the fuse panel door on the driver side, the alarm went off. Any thoughts?

Sounds like the mystery no start. Most likely a RCM going bad. Do a search on Mystery No Start. A quick fix is to unhook the neg battery terminal, wait a few minutes for the system to reset, hook neg terminal back on, start car. Good Luck!

skreem module is another possibility to read up on.. that is unhooking the battery and you will only get a few restarts. The RCM has solder joints that get hot, and disconnect killing the car. Once those joints cool and make contact, the car will start. Sooner or later, it will not make connection and it will not start... Both are known problems you can research here.

You say the engine would not turn, I take it you mean it does not do crank over at all? Do you hear the starter click or any noise at all ....?
