Default Locking system

Having trouble with my doors locking. Lights flash on car when I hit lock with the remote but nothing happens. When I put it in drive I can hit the manual lock button and everything locks. When I shut off car and open my door everything unlocks.

Does the interior light and the cargo light work ?
If not, then replace fuse # 9 in the under hood accessory block.

I did just change the bulb in my trunk. It worked for a minuite and then went out. Hmmm. I pray it is just the fuse. Thank you!!!!

Seems a common thing, I too had just changed the cargo bulb - seems it's easy to short the 12v to ground there and blow the fuse.
That fuse supplies 12v to the locking module as well as the cargo and interior lights.

I toasted 2 fuses putting an LED array panel in there (ORANGE ).. with the festoon bulb adapter.. then realized that is open contact to the other ends feed right off the side of the main contact. Loose fit and didn't like the chances of bouncing around. Just so happens the LED panels connector is a two pin..that could be directly plugged into the harness end there.

i am having the same issue as the above poster...lights up when i hit lock but does nothing. it seems to work randomly because most of the times they will lock..just occasionally i will drive around and go to lock my doors and not work...however they always work at the panel in the car and the unlock function always works..i just have an occasional problem locking my car which is annoying and concerning because i can lock the doors by pushing down the rods but i have no way to lock my trunk with a 1200$ sound system in it. any ideas..i will look into the fuse/light thing people have mentioned and see what i can find

Definitely check your number 9 fuse under the hood. It may just be loose. Hopefully that is all it is. I was so lucky. Good luck!
